Shadows

These pieces indulge in my love for dark ink and the grays of graphite. I love the combination of sharp contrasts and random gradations. I prefer rough lines and edges over clean even lines.

For ink I use Japanese sumi ink or india ink. When I can get my hands on good quality drawing and calligraphy inks I use those too.

For graphite I use a watercolor format by Viarco ArtGraf.
