Advisory on International Shipping
I ship from the Philippines and as of October 2020, the post office is providing ordinary mail service to very selected destinations, particularly in the US.
I have been shipping via ordinary mail since 2016 and while it took about 2-4 weeks to arrive, it always arrived. Rates were also relatively reasonable.
Now I can only ship via ordinary mail to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York in the US. For everywhere else I can only ship via express mail. Express mail has higher rates than ordinary mail but it is faster and has tracking. If you are willing to pay the adjusted shipping costs then everything should be fine.
Shipping rate is by weight and size. But express shipping often has a minimum regardless of actual weight and size. Thus, shipping rate for US and Europe starts at about $45 for anything less than 500 gms.
Where applicable there is also a requirement now to register all original artworks being sent out of the country at the National Museum and this has a fee of $6 per artwork.
What I will do is absorb a portion of the additional costs but shipping overall will increase in rate. This will be reflected in the shop per item.
Hence, in the art shop, you will see adjusted rates and these are the reasons why. I hope you will still find so much more in my artwork to weigh against the monetary cost and still be worth the purchase! Thank you!
